Man döms till nio års fängelse för grova sexbrott mot barn

A man in his 40s who committed nine counts of rape and two counts of sexual harassment against children has been sentenced to nine years in prison by a Swedish court. The man also committed child pornography offences. The man denied the charges, but the court found the evidence presented by the prosecution to be overwhelming. The children he victimized will be awarded more than SEK1m ($120,000) in compensation, and the man's own daughter will receive the highest amount ever awarded in a Swedish criminal case as damages for the suffering she has had to endure.
